NA3HL Forward of the Month: Chase Forry, Texas Brahmas

Chase Forry and the Texas Brahmas remain undefeated through the month of October, maintaining a perfect 13-0 record. As the league’s top scorer, Forry has tallied 36 points (13 goals, 23 assists) in 13 games, 23 of his points being recorded this month, averaging 3.29 points per game in addition to maintaining a plus-minus of +19 in October.

When looking at his eight goals this month, three were scored on the man advantage while one was the game winner for his squad, not to mention three power play assists as well. The Boca Raton, FL native had his best game to date on the 19th as he was able to tally a whopping eight points through 60 minutes, recording his first hat trick of the season on top of dishing out five assists.

“Forry came into this season playing great hockey and it’s shown in his production to this point. His size, speed, compete level, and hockey sense have allowed him to be in the right spots and he’s getting rewarded for it. He and his line mates have really bought into playing together and have been proven hard to stop in games,” stated Brahmas Head Coach Chad Bailey. “Chase is a mere 13 points shy of his point total last season and we are only 13 games into this season. That alone shows the growth he has taken in his play. Chase has also grown as a leader in our locker room and is one of the guys our young players can look up to. I’m really proud of the player he has grown into and I look forward to watching him help continue our team success and finish out his junior career on a high note.”

As the team’s top scorer for defensemen, the Andover, MN native is a point per game player with 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists), in 12 games, having a breakout month in October recording 11 points, including two-three point games.

May-Robinson found the back of the net 4 times, 3 being on the man advantage while one was the deciding factor for Wisconsin. His contributions on special teams didn’t stop there as he dished out five power play assists and one short handed helper as well.

“It is wonderful to see Tristen being recognized for the talented young player he is. His continuous commitment to learn the game speaks volumes of him as an athlete and young man. He always brings his very best for our club, on the ice and in the Tomah community. I know he has a bright future ahead for him,” stated Woodsmen Head Coach Jon Vaillancourt.
