Wild edge Icedogs on Thursday, 3-2

Bozeman 2 @ Gillette 3 – In the lone NA3HL game on Thursday night, the Gillette Wild held off a late rally from Bozeman and defeated the Icedogs, 3-2.
It was Bryce Mitchell who provided all the scoring for the Wild in the 1st period as the 20-year-old forward scored twice to give Gillette a 2-0 lead after the 1st period.
Bozeman would respond with power play goal early in the 2nd period from Kyler Chartier to make the score 2-1. Alex King would score later in the 2nd period to regain a two-goal lead for the Wild at 3-1.
In the 3rd period, Coleton Anderson would score late for the Icedogs to make the score, 3-2, but Bozeman could not find the equalizer.
Alex Feese made 27 saves in the win, while Denijs Romanovskis made 39 saves in the loss.
