Wolves pair make college commitments

The West Michigan Wolves of the NA3HL are pleased to announce two college commitments. Defenseman Matt Schultz has committed to play for Western Michigan in the ACHA and forward Ben Sera has committed to Augustana College in the ACHA.
Schultz, 20, has been a staple of the blueline this season, playing in 41 games during the regular season and recording six points. The 6’1/215 lbs. native of Grandville, Michigan has also played in two playoff games so far this season for the Wolves.
Sera, 19, has played in 34 regular season games and recorded four goals. He has played in three playoff games so far this season. The 6’1/190 lbs. native of Basel, Switzerland, has recorded all his points in December and January.
“Both Matt and Ben have been solid contributors to the team this season that both have steadily improved their game this season. They are both an important part of our team depth and are a big reason we had such a successful season. Our program is excited that both will be able to continue their hockey careers and educations at two great schools,” said West Michigan head coach Marc Fakler.
