The La Crosse Freeze, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Jake Lipski will be attending and playing NCAA Division III hockey at Concordia University of Wisconsin.
Lipski, 19, just finished his first season playing junior hockey in the NA3HL for the Freeze. In 44 games played this season, Lipski (6’0/180) had 27 points, which included 18 goals and 9 assists. His 18 goals led the team in goals scored this season. He also tied for the team lead with 4 game-winning goals.
In two playoff games, Lipski had a goal and an assist.
Prior to coming to the Freeze, the native of New Berlin, Wisconsin played high school hockey.
“We are extremely excited for Jake and his opportunity to play NCAA hockey. His goal was to play one year of junior hockey and then move on to college. Reaching this goal shows his level of commitment to both his athletic and academic future. Jake will be a good fit at Concordia. It suits him both athletically and academically. Coach Wise will be proud to call him a Falcon,” said Freeze head coach Ryan Egan.
