Motor City clinches final playoff spot in North

The Motor City Metal Jackets locked up the North Division’s fourth and final playoff berth after their two-game sweep over the Alpena IceDiggers last weekend.

The only playoff spot still up for grabs is in the Central Division, where the Albert Lea Thunder (41 points, three games remaining) lead the North Iowa Outlaws (36, three) for the fourth and final position.

The Topeka RoadRunners (89 points, two games remaining), Wenatchee Wild (87, four) and St. Louis Bandits (87, two) are still in contention to win the league’s regular-season title.
