Cape Cod forward Jessman makes NCAA commitment

The Cape Cod Islanders of the NA3EHL are proud to announce that forward Mike Jessman has committed to Post University (NCAA Division II, Independent) for next season. In 37 games this season the 5'7" 185 pound forward from Falmouth, MA has 29 goals and 37 assists for 66 points and is among the team leaders with a +37 rating.
Jessman has been named NA3EHL Player of the week multiple times and also garnered the NA3EHL Player of the Month honors in November.
Post University head coach Pete Whitney on his newest forward "Post University is excited to have someone of Mikes' skill and character joining the program. His "dog on a bone" approach to the fore-check coupled with his play making and goal scoring ability will make him an impact player for us immediately."
Islanders head coach Jay Pusnky had this to say, "Mike has excellent hands and vision, he has tremndous offensive instincts. His ability to create plays and set up his teammates has certainly contributed to our team's success. We are very happy that Mike has the opportunity to further his hockey career while getting a first class college education."
The Islanders now have two players that have made NCAA commitments, team captain Eric Szeker committed to St. Olaf College (D3 MIAC) last month.
