October 17, 2016

The North Iowa Bulls, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce the forward Kohei Sato was called up the NAHL this past weekend to play for the Northeast Generals.
Sato, 20, helped his new team, the Northeast Generals to their first points of the 2016-17 season with an overtime loss on Friday night against the New Jersey Titans. Sato scored a first period goal that was the go ahead goal at the time he scored it. New Jersey tied the game 2-2 in the third and won in OT.
"Kohei was a dominant force to start this season with the North Iowa Bulls recording 9 goals and 6 assists in 7 games. We are excited that Kohei has earned this opportunity to play in the NAHL again and wish him and the Generals the best for the remainder of the season,” said Bulls head coach Todd Sanden.
In 71 career NA3HL games, Sato has 73 career points. He was one of the heroes in the Bulls run to the Silver Cup title last season and was named to the All-Tournament team.
In five career NAHL games, Sato has three goals.
