St. Louis forward Maddox makes NCAA commitment

The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Sam Maddox has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at SUNY-Buffalo State. The Bengals are members of the SUNYAC in NCAA Division III.
The (5’11/170) native of Sappington, Missouri played four seasons with the Jr. Blues, serving as club captain in his final two campaigns.
During the 2016-17 season, Maddox recorded 69 points (31 goals, 38 assists) in 44 games played. He was named the 2016-17 NA3HL Midwest Division Forward of the year also named to the All-Midwest Division Team.
Maddox, 19, finished his Jr. Blues career with 61 goals and 83 assists in 163 games played, and was named to NA3HL Top Prospects teams three times.
He also won the league’s Community Service Award in 2015-16 and was named to the 3rd All-Star Team in 2016-17.
Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher stated, “we wish Sam all the best of luck up at Buffalo State.”
