NA3HL announces Bauer Divisional Stars of the Week

Honors go to Brandon Ratzloff (La Crosse), Jacob Kelly (Northeast), Dominick Glavach (Pittsburgh), Brandon Holt (Dayton), and Antonio Filippello (Jersey Shore).
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending September 10, 2017. The divisional stars of the week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the eight divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Brandon Ratzloff, forward, La Crosse Freeze
Ratzloff, 19, led the Freeze in points during their 8-1 win over the Rochester Ice Hawks The 5’7/175 lbs native of Rochester, MN, scored a goal and registered two assists against his hometown team. He also led La Crosse with a plus-4 rating.

Coastal Division Star of the Week: Jacob Kelly, forward, Northeast Generals
The 19-year old native of Wrentham, MA, had himself quite the junior hockey debut on Sunday. Kelly registered a hat trick and added an assist in the Generals’ 6-2 win over the Cape Cod Islanders. He also led the team with a plus-4 rating.

East Division Star of the Week: Dominick Glavach, forward, Pittsburgh Vengeance
Glavach, 20, led the Pittsburgh Vengeance in points this past weekend as they split their series with the Niagara Falls PowerHawks. On Saturday, Glavach scored a pair of goals while adding an assist and then followed up that effort with another two-goal performance on Sunday which included a shorthanded goal.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: No Games
Midwest Division Star of the Week: Brandon Holt, forward, Dayton Falcons
Although his team was unable to pick up a win during the opening weekend of games, Brandon Holt got off to nice start. After scoring a goal in on Saturday night, Holt found the back of the net again on Sunday, this time it was a power play tally. The 18-year old from Madison Heights, MI also added an assist in Sundays’ game.

Northeast Division Star of the Week: Antonio Filippello, forward, Jersey Shore Wildcats
Filippello,19, dazzled in the opening series against the Maine Wild, scoring a pair of special teams goals on Saturday night. One coming a man up and another coming with a man down. In the Wildcats’ 7-2 victory on Sunday, the Logan Township, NJ, native notched another pair of goals with one of them coming on the power play.
