North Iowa forward Studioso signs NAHL tender
November 6, 2017

The North Iowa Bulls of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Brendan Studioso has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Minnesota Wilderness of the NAHL’s Central Division.
Studioso, 18, is a ladder of development success story in the making. The native of Mukilteo, Washington, is in his second season of playing for the Bulls in the NA3HL. Studioso (6’1/190) has played in 14 games so far this season for the Bulls and recorded 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists).
Studioso was also called up to the NAHL earlier in October to play in a game for the Wilderness. He also played two games last year in the NAHL for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
Studioso played in the 2017 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Red team, where he had three points in three games.
Studioso is also an alum of the NAPHL, having played the 2014-15 season with the Everett Jr. Silvertips 16U team.
In 53 career NA3HL games with North Iowa, Studioso has 55 career points.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include one tender exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 5, 2018.
