Nordiques begin Fraser Cup Playoffs with convincing win

Caleb Labrie had four goals and two assists in a 9-1 win on Wednesday.

Coastal Division Semi-Finals, Game 1 - L/A Nordiques 9 vs. Northeast Generals 1 (L/A Nordiques lead best of three series, 1-0) – Caleb Labrie scored four goals and had six points for a 9-1 L/A Nordiques victory over the Northeast Generals in Game 1 of the series. The Nordiques led 4-0 after the 1st period and never looked back. Joe Bisson scored a pair, while Donovan Tegan, Shayne Plummer, and Joshua Sanchez netted one each for the Nordiques. In addition, Plummer also had four assists for a five point night and Sanchez had three assist for a four point night. Defenseman JP Chauvin had three assists in the win. Stephen Toal notched the one goal for the Generals. L/A's Michael Eric made 26 saves on the night, while Nick Sesock and Kyle Wagner stopped 3 and 31 shots each for Northeast. Boxscore
