March 16, 2018

The New England Stars of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman and captain Aidan Conlon has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Worcester State University.
Conlon, 21, is a 6’2/200 lbs. defenseman from Lowell, Massachusetts. He has registered 4 goals and 28 assists for 32 points in 46 games for the Stars.
“After three years with our program, Aidan has become a complete defenseman. He plays tough, moves the puck, and can play in any situation. He’s an intelligent player, keeps himself in great shape, and has been an excellent two-year captain for us. Worcester State will be happy with this pickup,” said Stars Head Coach Darryl Green.
Conlon is a four-year member of the Stars organization. In 155 career NA3HL games, he had recorded 75 points.
Worcester State University is an NCAA Division III University that competes in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC). The Worcester State University campus is centrally located in Massachusetts about an hour’s drive from Boston, Springfield, and Providence, Rhode Island.
“I am very excited to attend Worcester State to earn a degree and further my hockey career. I’d like to thank Coach Green, Coach Lubinski, and Coach Fontas, as this would not have been possible without them. I feel they have helped me mature not only as a hockey player but as a person. Over the past few years, the Stars have become a second family to me. I’m sad to leave, but excited about my future at Worcester State,” said Conlon.
