Blizzard skates to Central's regular-season title

With its 5-4 overtime victory over the Bismarck Bobcats on the final day of the regular season, coupled with the Coulee Region Chill's 4-1 loss to the Austin Bruins, the Alexandria Blizzard won the North American Hockey League's (NAHL) Central Division regular-season title.
The Blizzard finished the regular season with 72 points, one more than second-place Coulee Region and the third-place Owatonna Express.
Other division winners include the Fairbanks Ice Dogs (West), Topeka RoadRunners (South) and St. Louis Bandits (North).
