Great Falls defenseman Simpson makes college commitment

The Great Falls Americans of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Nate Simpson has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Maryville University.
Simpson, 20, just finished his second and final season playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 5’10/170 lbs. from Claremont, California, had 30 points (8 goals, 22 assists) in 43 games played this past season.
He was also selected to and played in the 2019 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Frontier Division team. He also recorded two points in six Fraser Cup Playoff games.
Over the course of his two-year NA3HL career, Simpson played in 83 games and had 40 points.
“We are very excited for Nate. He is one of the hardest working guys I have coached and an A+ character kid. He should do big things at the next level,” said Americans head coach Greg Sears.
