Maine defenseman Older makes college commitment

The Maine Wild of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Elijah Older has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for to West Virginia University.
Older, 19, just completed his first season of junior hockey with the Wild in the NA3HL. The 5’9/181 lbs. native of Arendel, Maine registered 5 goals and 18 assists for 23 points in 44 games during the 2018-19 season for the Wild.
“Elijah was a very important player on defense for our team this past season. He has tremendous skating ability and can play a very effective defensive and offensive type of game. We wish Elijah all the best next season,” said Wild Head Coach Jeff Tory.
“I want to thank the Wild organization, especially our two coaches and our head coach Jeff Tory. I had a great experience with the Wild this season and I am excited and looking forward to suiting up for West Virginia next season,” said Older.
