Former Whalers forward Mros makes college commitment

The Wisconsin Whalers formerly of the NA3HL (now the Sheridan Hawks) are pleased to announce that forward Tanner Mros has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Midland University.
Mros, 20, just completed his second and final season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 6’1/175 lbs. native of Monticello, Minnesota, played in all 47 regular season games for the Whalers during the 2018-19 season. He was tied for 4th in team scoring with 39 points, which included 19 goals and 20 assists.
Mros began his junior career in the NA3HL with the Whalers during the 2017-18 campaign where he recorded 18 points in 39 games played.
Overall in his NA3HL career, he played in 86 games and recorded 57 points.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL, Mros spent three seasons playing high school hockey in Minnesota for Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake High.
