Atlanta forward Cornic makes college commitment

The Atlanta Capitals of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Ayrton Cornic has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Midland University.
Cornic, 20, just completed his second and final season of playing in the NA3HL, which the majority has been spent with the Capitals.
The 5’9/140 lbs. native of Omaha, Nebraska, recorded 11 points (7 goals, 4 assists) in 42 games played during the 2018-19 season. He also had three points in four playoff games.
Overall in his two-year NA3HL career, Cornic played in 89 career games and recorded 25 points.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL, he played in the NAPHL during the 2016-17 regular season for the Omaha AAA 18U team.
“Ayrton was a shoot out specialist for us in Atlanta and was always ready to put in pressure situations,” said head coach Jason Smith.
