The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Daymin Dodge has been called up to play for the Kenai River Brown Bears in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the remainder of the 2019-20 season.
Dodge, 19, has played in the NA3HL for the Lumberjacks for the past two seasons. The 5’8/155 lbs. native of Rice, Minnesota has recorded 20 goals and 25 assists and was a +35 in 38 regular season games for Granite City including the 2019-20 season in which Dodge was second on the team in scoring tallying 14 goals and 14 assists and was a +16 in just 21 games.
Just before the 2019 NA3HL Showcase, Dodge skated with Kenai River for three games, netting 1 goal and 1 assist as the Brown Bears won two of those three games against Springfield.
Before playing for Granite City, Dodge was a member of the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School varsity team located in Sauk Rapids, MN. Dodge signed his tender with Kenai River during the 2018-19 NA3HL season while playing for the Jacks.
When asked about the advancement, Lumberjacks co-head coach DJ Vold stated, “Myself and the entire Lumberjacks family are happy and excited for the opportunity Daymin has earned. He will be missed but this scenario is what we are all here for…to advance players.”
