Yellowstone forward Rumpke signs NAHL tender
February 26, 2020

The Yellowstone Quake of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Dylan Rumpke has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the Johnstown Tomhawks of the NAHL’s East Division.
Rumpke, 18, is in his second season playing in the NA3HL for the Quake. So far during the 2019-20 season, the 5’10/185 lbs. native of Blacklick, Ohio, leads the Quake in scoring with 70 points (40 goals, 30 assists) in 44 games played. His 40 goals currently rank 7th among all NA3HL players.
Rumpke was selected to and recently played in the 2020 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Frontier Division team where he had two points in three games played.
Overall in his two-year NA3HL career, Rumpke has recorded 115 points in 77 career games played.
Rumpke is the first Quake player to sign an NAHL tender so far this season.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include one tender exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 2, 2020.
