Peoria defenseman Craycroft makes NCAA commitment

The Peoria Mustangs of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Jack Craycroft has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Northland College.
Craycroft, 21, just completed his first season of playing in the NA3HL and second season overall of playing junior hockey. The 6’3/190 lbs. native of Ankeny, IA, served as captain for the Mustangs during the 2020-21 season. He ranked 2nd in team scoring with 33 points (4 goals, 29 assists) in 39 games played.
Back on January 12th, Craycroft was named the NA3HL’s Central Division Star of the Week.
Craycroft put up big numbers from the blue line that week, notching 2g-6a—8pts and a stout +9 rating in a pair of wins over Wausau. His crowning moment came in Friday’s tilt, where he tallied a pair of goals to go with a whopping four helpers. To put a cherry on top, Craycroft’s first marker served as the game-winner in a 10-2 romp. Craycroft followed up his breakout effort with a second straight multi-point effort, posting a pair of assists in Saturday’s win as well.
