Granite City forward Skime makes NCAA commitment
The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Tucker Skime has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia-Moorhead University.
Skime, 20, has played in 117 total regular season games for the Lumberjacks where he’s produced 119 points. He currently is 7th in All-Time Scoring for Granite City.
So far during the 2022-23 season, the 6’1/180 lbs. native of Thief River Falls, MN, is currently leading the 1st place Lumberjacks in scoring with 47 points (19 goals, 28 assists) in 39 games played to date.
“We are extremely happy with Tucker and his commitment. We want kids that come to this program and want to be hockey players. Tucker has done all of that and more. He’s going to be very successful at the NCAA Division III level. We can’t wait to see what he can do next year,” said Granite City Co-Head Coach DJ Vold.
