Norwich doubles up Danbury on Wednesday, 4-2
Sava Makarenko had a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win on Wednesday.
Danbury 2 @ Norwich 4 – The Norwich Sea Captains got a three-point afternoon from Sava Makarenko and two goals from Glen Farmer as they beat the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks on Wednesday afternoon, 4-2.
The Sea Captains jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st period as Farmer scored his first goal of the game, followed by goals from Makarenko and Nicolas Piluso.
In the 2nd period, Farmer’s second goal of the game made it a 4-0 content. Danbury finally got on the board late in the 2nd period on a goal from Brody Trew.
In the 3rd period, Danbury made it a 4-2 contest with a goal from Aidan Anderson, his 8th of the season.
Noah Behrens made 15 saves in the win, while Carter Hill and Riley Gorman combined for 45 saves in the loss for Danbury.
