Titans edge New Hampshire on Tuesday, 4-3
New Jersey 4 @ New Hampshire 3 – The Titans shrugged off a 4-2 defeat yesterday from the Jr. Mountain Kings yesterday and posted a 4-3 win on Tuesday in New Hampshire. Payton Fobes led the way for the Titans, recording a hat-trick in the game.
New Hampshire led 1-0 after one period thanks to a goal from Francis Gauvin.
New Jersey tied the game in the 2nd period with Fobes first goal of the game. New Hampshire then regained control of the contest, getting back-to-back goals from Leonardo Kahlhammer and Jory Veenstra to take a 3-1 lead into the 2nd intermission.
The 3rd period was all Titans, as two more goals from Fobes and one from Wesley Jung less than four minutes apart secured the 4-3 win.
Titans goalie Avery Rovira-Hewitt made 26 saves in the win, while AJ Cooper took the loss with 28 saves.
