Danbury 1 @ New Jersey 2 – Titans goalie Aidan Patterson stopped 40 of 41 shots that came his way as New Jersey kicked off 2024 with a 2-1 win over the visiting Jr. Hat Tricks.
New Jersey took a 1-0 lead in the opening period thanks to the 14th goal of the season from Payton Fobes with assists to George Hinds and Zach O’Neil.
In the 2nd period, the lead widened to 2-0 as Zach Gershner netted his 4th goal of the season with Fobes and Hinds picking up assists.
In the 3rd period, Aidan Zamborsky netted the lone goal for Danbury with an assist to Jack Klunk.
Danbury goalie Chris Panza made 29 saves in the loss.
