NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending January 21st. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches. 

 

Central Division Star of the Week: Jordan Larkee, Forward, Oregon Tradesmen

Tradesmen forward Jordan Larkee combined for 7 points over a three game set over the weekend earning the Central Division Star of the Week. Larkee, a native of Apple Valley, MN kicked off the weekend with a three point game scoring a goal and dishing out two assists in the Tradesmen 5-1 win over Wisconsin. The following night, Larkee added another goal and handed out three assists with Oregon taking down St. Louis by a final of 9-2. Larkee has played in 36 games this season where he has totalled 40 points with 8 goals and 32 assists. 

2nd Star: John Kriz, F, Wausau Cyclones

East Division Star of the Week: Nolan Nemecek, Forward, Long Beach Sharks

Long Beach Sharks forward Nolan Nemecek’s effort earned him the East Division Star of the Week. The Grand Rapids, MI native netted two goals in a contest against the New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings. This season, Nemecek has appeared in 24 games, combining for 21 points. 

2nd Star: Aidan Anderson, F, Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks

 

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Ty Moore, Forward, Helena Bighorns

Helena forward Ty Moore was instrumental in the Bighorns weekend sweep over the Gillette Wild to claim the first place spot in the Frontier Division. The Medicine Hat, Alberta, CAN native tallied 6 points over a two game set. Moore added a goal and an assist in Helena’s 8-5 win on Friday. He followed that performance by doubling down on Saturday with two goals and two assists in a 5-2 win. Moore has played in 31 games this year for Helena where he’s netted 28 goals and 20 assists for 48 points. 

2nd Star: Patrick Crooks, F, Butte Irish

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Finn Theriault, F, Helena Bighorns – Weston Villers, D, Butte Irish 

 

South Division Star of the Week: Carson Spear, Forward, Texas RoadRunners

RoadRunner forward Carson Spear went to work over a three game set against the Mid-Cities Stars totalling 10 points. The Dallas, TX native started the weekend with a two point game, adding a goal and an assist. In the following two nights, Spear posted a hat-trick and an assist in each game. Spear has played in 29 games this season for the RoadRunners and has totalled 31 points. 

2nd Star: Ryan Piekarski, G, El Paso Rhinos

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Krzysztof Jakubowski, G, Texas RoadRunners – Rocco Romita, F, El Paso Rhinos 

 

West Division Star of the Week: Ashton Ericksen, Forward, Granite City Lumberjacks

Granite City forward Ashton Ericksen totaled six points over two games to earn the West Division Star of the Week. The Cherry Falls, IL native went to work on Friday night, scoring a goal and handing out five assists for six points. Ericksen has played in 28 games for the Lumberjacks this season where he has totalled 27 points. 

2nd Star: Ryan Lehet, G, Granite City Lumberjacks

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Dominic Thomas, F, Mason City Toros
