NA3HL Weekend Preview
We are in the final month of the NA3HL regular season and there are just seven playoff spots remaining in the Fraser Cup playoffs.
The NA3HL is still riding high off the 2023 NA3HL Showcase, which saw more than 100+ NCAA, NAHL, and ACHA scouts watch three incredible days of hockey.
The next big events for the NA3HL are the 2024 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament and 2024 Fraser Cup.
The 2024 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament will take place at the St. Peters Rec Plex in St. Peters, Missouri, on March 22-24 in cooperation with the Fraser Cup. There will be four NA3HL Top Prospects teams who each play in two games during the event.
There’s a battle at the top of the Central Division as Wausau and West Bend are tied for the top spot with just a handful of games left. Wausau has one game in hand.
In the East, Northeast has the number one seed locked up and New Hampshire has a chance this weekend to clinch their first berth in the Fraser Cup playoffs.
Out in the Frontier, Helena has a three point lead on Gillette for the top spot with Bozeman comfortable in third and Great Falls, Badlands and Sheridan vying for the final playoff position.
In the South, New Mexico has a chance to clinch the first playoff spot in that division. El Paso, the Texas RoadRunners and Texas Brahmas are separated by just three points for second place. Louisiana sits just four points behind the Brahmas for fourth place with a three game series coming up starting tonight.
Lastly in the West, Rochester and Granite City go head to head this weekend in what could all but determine who will be the regular season champion of that division. Mason City grabbed their playoff spot with a win last night, eliminated Willmar in the process.
