Wausau forward Paquin makes ACHA Commitment
The Wausau Cyclones of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Kalob Paquin has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for the University of Jamestown.
A veteran of the NA3HL, Paquin, 20, began his junior hockey career with the Cyclones during the 2021-2022 campaign. Over the course of three seasons with Wausau, the Moorehead, MN native tallied 12 goals and 8 assists in 107 games including two power play goals this season.
“We are extremely excited for Kalob to be continuing his playing career and furthering his education at Jamestown. Iggy has been an integral part of the Wausau Cyclones hockey team and organization for the past three years. He has put in the necessary work on and off the ice to be able to get to the next level and secure this opportunity. We couldn’t be prouder of him, his work ethic and his commitment.” stated Head Coach & General Manager of Hockey Operations Nathan Oystrick.
Paquin appeared in 6 total Fraser Cup Playoff games, 2 during the 2021-2022 season in addition to 4 games during the 2023-2024 season.
Paquin is the 3rd player to commit for the Cyclones this season and the 2nd player of the NA3HL to commit to University of Jamestown.
