Bighorns defenseman Ramsay makes ACHA Commitment

The Helena Bighorns of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Owen Ramsay has committed to play ACHA DII hockey for Utah State University.  

Ramsay, 21, completed his second season of junior hockey in the NA3HL with Helena, appearing in 83 regular season games for the Bighorns. Over the course of two seasons, the Prosper, TX native tallied a total of 42 points (9 goals, 33 assists). 

As a consistent playoff contender, Ramsay and the Bighorns made a playoff run both seasons, a total of 16 Fraser Cup Playoff games, including a 2023-2024 Fraser Cup Championship.

In addition to suiting up for Helena, the ‘03 blueliner skated in 29 NAPHL games at the U16 and U18 levels for the McKinney North Stars. 

Ramsay is the fourth player to commit for the Bighorns this season.
