Helena veteran Dylan Cunningham makes ACHA Commitment

The Helena Bighorns of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that captain Dylan Cunningham has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for the University of Mary. 

Cunningham, 20, wrapped up his third and final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. The Helena, MT native has been with the Bighorns dating back to the 2021-2022 season, making the switch to juniors after his high school season came to a close. 

Through 115 regular season games with Helena, Cunningham tallied a grand total of 98 points (17 goals, 81 assists). His best season being the 2023-2024 season where he tallied 62 points alone, including two game winning goals and three powerplay goals.

As a consistent playoff contender, Cunningham and the Bighorns made a playoff run all three seasons, a total of 12 Fraser Cup Playoff games, including a 2023-2024 Fraser Cup Championship. The captain also appeared in 2 Top Prospect Tournament games in 2023. 

Cunningham is the third player to commit from the Bighorns this season.
