NA3HL Announces New Team in South Carolina
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced that its Board of Governors has approved the membership of the Caroline Rage for the 2025-26 season.
“We are excited to bring high level junior hockey to this region and have always focused on creating a path for the southeast market to be able to work their way too,” Rage owner, Darren Anderson said. “The future of a cradle to college scenario is now obtainable right out of the Ice Station.”
The Rage will be based out of Greer, South Carolina and will play out of Ice Station Arena.
“We have been working on building the Southeast footprint of the NA3HL for a very long time,” NAHL Commissioner and President Mark Frankenfeld said. “The Rage will be one of many great additions in the geography and their existence will open more opportunities for players to develop and advance to play in the NAHL or to play College hockey.
Final approval by USA Hockey is expected at the upcoming Annual Congress.
The NA3HL is the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior league and serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification. The NA3HL will be entering its 15th season of operation during the 2024-25 season. It is the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III junior hockey league.
