Helena defenseman Joe Feamster makes ACHA Commitment
The Helena Bighorns of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Joe Feamster has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for Liberty University.
Feamster, 20, wrapped up his second and final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL with the Helena Bighorns. The Colorado Springs, CO native has been within the NAHL family dating back 2018-2019 as a member of the NAPHL with the Colorado Springs Tigers. The ‘03 spent three seasons within the Springs Tigers organization at the 15U and 18U levels, recording 19 points in the NAPHL (7 goals, 12 assists), in 61 games.
Through 81 regular season games with Helena, Feamster tallied a total of 45 points (11 goals, 34 assists). His best game this season being the January 13th contest against the Butte Irish where he tallied one goal and two assists.
As a consistent playoff contender, Feamster and the Bighorns made a playoff run all three seasons, a total of 16 Fraser Cup Playoff games, recording 7 points during the postseason, including a 2023-2024 Fraser Cup Championship.
Feamster is the sixth player to commit from Helena this season and will be joining former Bighorns member, and older brother Sam at Liberty in the fall.
