Woodsmen forward Buckingham makes NCAA Commitment
The Wisconsin Woodsmen of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Braydon Buckingham has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for Kings College in the UCHC.
Buckingham, 21, is a two-year NA3HL player, suiting up for the Willmar Warhawks and the Wisconsin Woodsmen playing in a total of 93 games, 4 of which were Robertson Cup Playoff games. Throughout his time in the league, the Prior Lake, MN native tallied 71 points (28 goals, 43 assists), including 1 game winning goal, 4 powerplay goals, 3 short handed goals during the 2023-2024 season.
In addition to playing 9 NAHL games with the Amarillo Wranglers of the NAHL South Division, Buckingham was selected to participate in both the 2023 and 2024 Top Prospects Tournaments.
“Braydon approached everyday with our program with a high degree of professionalism and a commitment to excellence on and off the ice,” stated Woodsmen Heach Coach Jon Vaillancourt. “His leadership on the ice and his commitment to bettering this program has helped us establish the Woodsmen as a premier junior program for players looking to make further advancements in hockey. I want to thank Braydon for everything he has done for our club and we can't wait to watch him take the ice this fall.”
Buckingham is the 3rd player to commit for the Woodsmen this season.
