Icedogs defenseman Sturm makes NCAA Commitment
The Bozeman Icedogs of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Bryce Sturm has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for New England College in the NEHC.
Sturm, 20, is a two-year NA3HL player, suiting up for 86 games with the Bozeman Icedogs, two of which being Fraser Cup Playoff games. Throughout his time in Bozeman, the Lake in the Hills, IL native tallied 57 points (10 goals, 47 assists). Of his 8 goals this season, 2 were gamewinners, while 2 were on the powerplay.
With his success in the NA3HL, Sturm was selected to participate in the 2024 Top Prospects Tournament.
“We can’t be more excited for Bryce,” said Head Coach Mike Perkins. “Bryce’s skill set, leadership and athleticism will be a great addition to the New England College Hockey program.”
Sturm is the 3rd player to commit for the Icedogs this season.
