Ice Wolves defenseman Lund makes ACHA Commitment

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Spencer Lund has committed to play ACHA DI for Grand Canyon University. 

An Anchorage, AK native, Lund spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Appearing in 100 games, 10 of which being Fraser Cup Playoff games, Lund tallied a total of 37 points (8 goals, 29 assists), with an impressive plus-minus of +44 during the 2023-2024 season. 

As a prominent member of New Mexico, 6’3” blueliner was selected to participate in the 2024 Top Prospects Tournament and was called up to the NAHL Ice Wolves 4 times during the regular season.

Prior to starting his junior career, Lund skated in 16 NAPHL games with Team Alaska at the 18U level.

Lund is the 1st player to commit for the Ice Wolves this season.
