Cyclones defenseman Baker makes NCAA Commitment

The Wausau Cyclones are proud to announce that defenseman Isaac Baker has committed to play NCAA Division III college hockey at Concordia College (MN).
Baker, a native of St. Cloud, Minnesota played in 81 games during his 2 seasons in Wausau where he scored 11 goals and contributed 54 assists. Baker’s 54 assists rank 3rd in team history. This past season Baker was 3rd among all NA3HL defensemen in scoring, was named to the All-NA3HL 2nd team and participated in the 2024 Top Prospects Tournament.
“We are extremely proud and excited to hear that Isaac will be continuing to play hockey next season at Concordia, while getting an education at a great school. Isaac was an absolute joy to coach and watch grow over the last two seasons. He never stopped working and wouldn’t let anything slow him down. He is a warrior,” stated Head Coach Nathan Oystrick.
Baker is one of seven players to commit for the Cyclones this season.
