3HL announces playoff and Championship info
The North American 3 Hockey League (3HL) has announced its schedule and format for the 3HL Playoffs and Championship.
The 3HL playoffs will begin March 16th. Each of the teams from the 3HL make the playoffs. Divisional play downs will feature the #1 seed hosting the #4 seed and the #2 seed hosting the #3 seed, both in a best of three series. The winners will advance to the divisional finals, which will be a best of three series hosted by the higher seed.
The winners of each divisional playoff series will then advance to the 3HL Championship, which will be held at the Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois. The four teams will play in a round-robin tournament with the top two teams advancing to play for the 3HL Championship on April 2nd.
