March 25, 2009
Former Toledo IceDigger Kaleigh Schrock won a Division III national championship as a member of Neumann College (ECAC West).
Schrock, a senior forward and captain of the Knights team, tallied four goals for eight points in 26 games this season for Neumann, located outside of Philadelphia.
“Kaleigh deserves to be a part of a national championship,” said Marquette Rangers head coach Kenny Miller, who coached Schrock as an assistant with the IceDiggers during the 2004-05 season. “Not only is a great player and leader, he’s an incredible young man.
“As a former coach of his, I’m very proud of his accomplishment.”
