Battle Creek Revolution 0 @ Pittsburgh Vengeance 7: Lukas Friberger scored only ten seconds into the game and that’s all the Vengeance needed in a 7-0 victory over the Battle Creek Revolution. Tyler Geloneck was perfect in the Pittsburgh net stopping all 18 shots, while Cody Black added to the Pittsburgh offense with 3 assists. Zach Kooi stopped 28 shots in defeat for Battle Creek. Breezy Point North Stars 1 @ Minnesota Flying Aces 2: Jaxson Gosnell was the difference maker for the Minnesota Flying Aces stopping 37 shots, including a penalty shot in the second period, leading the Aces to a 2-1 victory. Justin Nielsen and Eric Cruickshank converted the goals for Minnesota and Billy Foy countered for Breezy Point but it was Gosnell who stole the show. Boxscore
Sugar Land Imperials 4 @ Dallas Jr. Stars 12: The second meeting between these two new franchises may have already started a rivalry as tempers flared in the 12-4 Dallas victory. Each team had over 10 power plays with both converting on at least four attempts. Avik Bordak continued his scoring early scoring pace for Sugar Land adding a two goals and an assist to his total. The Dallas offense was spread around and often as every player on the roster had at least one point but the team was led by Colin South who converted the hat trick and added an assist. Boxscore
Twin City Steel 3 @ Granite City Lumberjacks 6: The Granite City Lumberjacks were hot on the power play converting on 50% of their chances in their 6-3 win over the Twin City Steel. Drew Otto, Aidan Verbeke, Aaron Storch and Travis Kothenbeutel all converted on the man advantage for the Lumberjacks. Twin City put up a good effort of their own on the special teams tallying a shorthanded goal to begin the game by Calvin Miska. Boxscore
Metro Jets 3 @ Michigan Mountain Cats 2: Cooper McLean scored on the power play in the third period to give the Metro Jets the goal they needed in a 3-2 win over the Michigan Mountain Cats. Trevor Kalinowski made 30 saves in the victory being beaten only by Max Vance and Abram Prince of the Mountain Cats. Boxscore
Cincinnati Swords 1 @ Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 3: Cleveland goaltender Tyler Jansen stopped 34 shots during the game to lead the Jr. Lumberjacks to a 3-1 victory over Cincinnati. Jansen, a Cedarburg, Wisconsin native, has stopped 34 shots in his first four starts this season. Nolan Kepler scored the goal for the Swords to start the second period but Jansen was a brick wall for the rest of the contest. Boxscore
St. Louis Jr. Blues 4 @ Wisconsin Whalers 3 (OT): Christian Argyros tallied on the man advantage as the Jr. Blues leave Wisconsin with a victory in overtime 4-3. A tripping penalty in overtime led to Argyros beating Cleveland goaltender Michael Marcinek, who stopped 38 Jr. Blues Shots. Billy Hindle was sensational for St. Louis in net as he stopped 50 shots in the win. Boxscore
Peoria Mustangs 1 @ Flint Junior Generals 5: Cam Jorgensen scored a hat trick and Conor Durgan upped his point total to 15 on the season as the Flint Junior Generals beat Peoria 5-1. Durgan assisted on Jorgensens first two tallies of the game and Jorgensen converted once more in the third to ice the game. Sandwiched in between Flints two third period goals was Peorias only conversion on the night from Brendan Murphy. Boxscore
