Graduates celebrate D-I title with BU

Ten former NAHL players celebrated a NCAA Division I championship with Boston University after the Terriers defeated Miami-Ohio in overtime, 4-3, in the national title game on Saturday at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

The NAHL graduates at BU include: Colby Cohen, sophomore defenseman (USNTDP); Chris Connolly, freshman forward (Fargo-Moorhead Jets); Adam Kraus, sophomore goaltender (Alaska Avalanche); Jason Lawrence, senior forward (USNTDP); Luke Popko, junior forward (USNTDP); Vinny Saponari, freshman forward (USNTDP); Kevin Shattenkirk, sophomore defenseman (USNTDP); Brian Strait, junior defenseman (USNTDP); David Warsofsky, freshman defenseman (USNTDP); and Colin Wilson, sophomore forward (USNTDP).

Wilson was named to the All-Tournament Team.
